Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Unokaso, operated by Vaultera Labs, uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, and the choices you have over them. For information on how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember preferences, and report usage. We also use browser "local storage," which serves a similar purpose but stores data in your browser rather than in a file sent back to our servers.
2. Categories We Use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function, such as remembering your cookie consent choice and keeping forms secure. These do not require consent.
- Preferences / functional. Remember choices you make — for example your selected language and dark/light theme — so you don't have to set them again.
- Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the site (which pages are visited, roughly where traffic comes from) so we can improve it. These load only after you accept analytics cookies.
We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell data collected through them.
3. Cookies and Technologies We Set
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Analytics visitor ID | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes unique visitors to measure site usage. | 2 years |
| Analytics session tracker | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 — persists session state. | 2 years |
| Cookie consent choice | Strictly necessary | Stores whether you accepted or declined optional cookies. | 12 months |
| Language selection | Preference (local storage) | Remembers your interface language. | Persistent until cleared |
| Theme selection | Preference (local storage) | Remembers dark/light theme selection. | Persistent until cleared |
4. Third-Party Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google receives information about your use of the site (including your IP address, which is truncated/anonymized by GA4) and may combine it with data from other sites under its own policies: How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google'sbrowser add-on.
5. Your Consent and Choices
- First visit. A consent banner lets you accept or decline optional (analytics) cookies. Strictly necessary and preference items stay on because the site cannot function without them.
- Changing your mind. Clear your browser storage for this site (or use your browser's "clear site data" option) and reload; the banner will appear again so you can make a new choice. Declining stops future analytics collection but does not remove already-set analytics cookies — clearing cookies via your browser does that.
- Browser controls. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may affect how parts of the site work.
6. Changes to This Policy
We update this policy if our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; material changes will be highlighted on the site.
